It's time to introduce our latest travel blog, "Traveling Boomers", with a new website and new look. We have decided to retire our previous "Rick and Kathie's Travel Adventures" blogs, but they will still be available for viewing at:

So why start a travel related blog in the middle of a pandemic and global travel lock-down? Why not! We must have optimism that some level of leisure travel will return sooner rather than later in 2021. Our plans are to get vaccinated as soon as we are eligible, and we are pretty sure that along with a passport, a COVID-19 vaccination card will be needed for most international air travel and cruises . We want to be ready to go and get back to traveling as soon as it is safe.
We do have several trips booked for mid and late 2021 and we are hopeful that these will go as scheduled. In the meantime, we plan to make some blog posts to keep those skills alive; we might reminisce about past favorite trips, share some travel tips, showcase some of our lock-down projects and activities or share some of our favorite photos.
